This is the first issue of this compendium of poetry in Irish and Scottish Gaelic which the editor hopes to publish once a year. Some of the poems have been translated to Irish or Scottish Gaelic and others are accompanied by a glossary in order to help readers appreciate the work of poets in the language they are not quite so familiar with.
