It is the power of storytelling. It satisfies young and old alike. The generations before us had good practice in storytelling and storytelling. Joe Steve O Neachtain has heard many stories in the visiting houses on Crí Dubh in Spidéal from the people of the town and from the people of the towns closest to them. And, of course, nothing would satisfy him but to try it himself. Here is a small collection of stories from him, both old stories that he made his own and stories that he made up anew – so much of the rich source of storytelling.
