“Dúchas” is Tipperary’s annual “Éigse” or cultural festival and this, the second volume in a series, publishes most of the lectures delivered at the festival between 1986-1989. Literature, local history and music in so far as they pertain to the Gaelic heritage of Tipperary, constitute the content of Dúchas. Poems by Liam Dall Ó hIfearnáin, not previously attributed to the poet, are presented in this volume.
