Get yourself a piece of paper, a pencil and this book and you’ve got a portable classroom. It will not teach you pronunciation but it will dramatically increase your vocabulary. The lessons are a single page each, in most cases, and progress in a logical way from the most basic of words through verb tenses and presumably beyond – I haven’t finished it yet!
