Tá an páipéar dátheangach seo dírithe ar na leasuithe a mhol Cléireach na Dála, An Roinn Airgeadais agus Seirbhísí Gaeltachta na Roinne Tailte ar théacs Gaeilge an Bhunreachta le linn do Roinn an Taoisigh an Bille um an ara leasú ar an mBunreacht, 1940, a ullmhú. Tá leathchéad leasuithe tugtha anseo mar aon leis na cúiseanna ar ar diúltaíodh dá bhformhór mór.

This bilingual paper focuses on the amendments proposed to the Irish text of the Constitution by the Clerk of the Dáil, the Department of Finance and the Gaeltacht Services Section of the Department of Lands for the Irish text of the Constitution during the preparation by the Department of the Constitution Bill, 1940. Fifty of the amendments are given, together with the reasons why the vast majority of them were rejected.
