An Cine Dána
Seán Ó Meara
Coiscéim 2005

Sna haistí beathaisnéise seo cuireann an t-údar na 1950í i láthair ina steillbheatha: ceol, craic, grá agus ealaín na mblianta sin i mBaile Átha Cliath. Tá cuntas ann fosta ar na huafáis; scrios na dtuilte, is buamáil na Trá Thuaidh, iad feicthe trí shúile fir óig.

In these biographical essays the author recreates vividly the music, the craic, the romance and the arts of Dublin in the fifties. There are descriptions also of the destruction wrought by flooding and the bombing of the North Strand as seen through they eyes of a young man.
