Pádraig O Siadhail, Professor and Chair of Irish Studies at St. Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, is the author of three novels and a collection of short stories in the Irish Language. He has been the recipient of various literary prizes in Ireland and has been hailed as one of the finest writers currently working in the Irish language. This collection won the Cló Iar-Chonnachta literature prize 2001.
