The anger of a young girl whose boyfriend goes off with her mother, separated parents, a teenager leaving home, a parent’s funeral, these are but some of the subjects dealt with in these short stories. The author, already well known for her poetry, writes sympathetically about the problems of young people in contemporary Ireland.
