Ní mar a shíltear a bhítear agus sa nóibhille seo a phléann eachtra thubaisteach amach ó chósta thiar na hÉireann, is amhlaidh atá.

Tá draíocht ag baint leis an oileán a mheallann an strainséir, chuige. Tá sé ag súil le leigheas a aimsiú ann ar an scáil dhubh a leanann é. Ach is deacair sin a dhéanamh agus forsaí dorcha eile roimhe.

Daoine rúnda coimeádacha iad muintir an oileáin agus, cé go n-éiríonn leis réiteach le daoine áirithe, ní hé gach duine atá sásta go bhfuil sé ann.

Idir ráflaí is fírinne, grá is naimhdeas, déantar rún dorcha an oileáin a scaoileadh. Deirtear go mbíonn dhá insint ar gach scéal ach tá seacht n-insint ar an scéal seo agus a dearcadh féin ina leith ag gach carachtar.

Things are often not as they seem at a first glance and this is definitely the case in this novella that examines the events surrounding a tragic event off the west coast of Ireland.

The story begins when a stranger visits a beautiful island off the Irish coast. Drawn by the peace and tranquility of the island, the stranger has been looking for a cure for the dark depression that he suffers from. But the island isn’t the peaceful retreat that he was hoping for.

The people on the island are conservative and distrustful and while he manages to get along with some people, not everyone is happy to see him.

Between rumours and truth, love and enmity, the island’s dark secrets are revealed. They say that there are two sides to every story but there are seven sides to this story and every one has a different tale to tell.
